What is

Growing Tree Montessori

all about

We are so thrilled to introduce you and your little one to our wonderful school.

Growing Tree Montessori is a home away from home Montessori environment encompassing the original Montessori method. We endeavor to provide your child with the highest quality Montessori education, with our fully trained staff and beautiful Montessori materials.

Our small class sizes will cater for children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years of age. Our classes are grouped to align with developmental stages rather than by age ensuring your child’s physical, as well as social and emotional needs, are being met. We have created a space where your child will not only be truly seen and heard, but will also be truly loved and cared for.

Our carefully prepared Montessori environment has been thoughtfully put together to instill a deep love for learning as well as fostering independence, instilling a sense of responsibility,  and building a self confidence within your child to last a lifetime.

Montessori is a preparation for life.

Many of the lessons your child will be introduced to will be transferable into the family home. These lessons will not only prepare your child for their academic growth, but for life after school too.

We encourage your questions, and should you need further instruction on how to incorporate Montessori principles into you home environment, a consultation can be arranged.

At Growing Tree Montessori, your child will not only grow and learn, but they will truly thrive, as they discover the wonders of the world around them.

Our Core values

  • At Growing Tree Montessori we have established a set of values that ensure the children within our care not only thrive academically but grow to be caring, compassionate and respectful members of our community.

Kindness always comes first.

We foster compassion and care for one another above all else.

  • We have an expectation from our little ones to respect themselves, others and the environment.

  • We take our lead from the child and reach them on their level. Each child's needs are thoughtfully considered and provided for.

Our environment is well prepared, neat and ordered.

We believe in the abilities of each child.

"Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed."

- Maria Montessori

This belief in their ability builds a confidence within each child to last a lifetime.
