The Montessori approach to learning is based on an understanding of human development. It supports the learning and growth of children in a way other education systems fall short.
Montessori looks at a child's development in a holistic and progressive manner. It is respectful of each child's interests, inner needs, and learning styles making Montessori a wonderful approach for most children.
Montessori is aligned to developmental stage rather than according to a pre-defined set of skills demanded by a traditional curriculum. In a Montessori environment you will find your child in a class of mixed ages and with the same directress for 2 - 3 years.
Each child grows at a pace they feel comfortable with, whilst being gently guided by the Directresses along on their learning journey.
Montessori is a preparation for life.
"Children thrive in our fun-filled, high quality sport lessons. Creating a learning environment, which boosts confidence and self-esteem, is paramount.
Your child will be coached to engage confidently in a wide range of sport skills preparing them for years of positive and competent sports participation."
Basic gymnastic skills develop attributes that are perfect stepping stones for other sport and activities.
Our session may also be beneficial as a complement to occupational therapy, as the children join in due to the exciting presentation. This will help to improve their body strength and coordination whilst having lots of fun!"
"Drum Club is an interactive drumming adventure programme that is aimed at children from 2 to 8 years.
The hands-on interaction the children get with drums is something they’ll never forget and the introduction of additional percussion musical instruments can only broaden their awareness of other cultures around the world."
"Abagility Maths Club introduces “abacus agility”, an exciting program which not only gives children the advantages that the Japanese abacus maths technique provides, but also teaches children the application of the method to their school maths and in their day to day lives.
Research emphasises the
importance of EARLY stimulation in developing the brain. This is an effective
way to develop your whole brain and improve your math skills at school."
